    French Account Manager - Tech - Lyon - France

    This is a French Speaking Account Management role but you must be able to speak English.

    SALARY Up to €34,000 EURO + (€6,600 Uncapped BONUS)

    Home-working initially - then working from Lyon.

     

    We have such a great role for somebody with a solid Account Management background, or a successful Business Development Executive (B2B background) looking to move in to an Account Management role. Working with a passionate, dedicated French team, committed to the growth of the French entities within the group.  A European tech company are looking for somebody to work within the inside sales team to gain new business and manage accounts whilst assisting the company in building strong relationships with customers and the positioning of the company as a trusted business partner.

     

    You will be responsible for providing great account management to your customers. Developing and managing your customer accounts for both existing and emerging customers.

    Duties will include:

    • Providing great customer service to existing customers
    • Assisting with on boarding new customers as and when needed
    • Advancing sales opportunities with prospect qualification, development, production and presentation of solutions and contract negotiation and agreement
    • Working towards KPIs - number of calls, number of opportunities created, opportunities closed etc
    • Identifying customer requirements in order to upsell existing and new solutions
    • Maintaining the CRM – for both new and existing customers
    • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met
    • Promotion of a positive team culture and team working
    • Fulfilling other duties as and when requested

     

    Skills and Experience required:

    The job holder will be an exceptional candidate, with a proven track record in a similar role. In particular they are required to have:

     

    Essential

    • Fluent/native in French
    • A good level of English
    • B2B experience
    • A strong background in new business development/account management
    • Successful track record in analysing accounts and achieving sales targets
    • Outstanding customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Self-motivation and confidence
    • Experience of web based applications and Windows
    • A willingness to learn
    • Frequently meeting and exceeding targets set in a previous sales role
    • Professional/consultative style
    • Determining customer requirements and specifying technical solutions
    • An excellent communicator and team player, with a results oriented outlook and a clear ability to capitalise on any potential new business opportunity
     
    Desirable
    • Sales experience of offering software solution/services (SAAS)
    • The SMS and telecoms industry
    • Knowledge of marketing and messaging tools
