    Content Marketing Specialist - Nottingham

    We are looking for a talented Content Marketing Specialist to fulfil a brand new position within a Nottingham based Tech Company.  Initially your focus will be to work on a large migration project.  You will be responsible for managing communication programmes to existing customers to ensure that all existing content as well as creating new content will be transferred over and optimised on the new customer platform.  You will work on SEO initiatives to ensure the transfer of as much equity from the "retiring brands" websites to the retained brand as possible. 

    The ultimate aim of this role is to minimise customer churn and take responsibility for the marketing aspects of brand retirement and platform migration processes whilst ensuring the business continues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

     

    Your daily tasks will include:

    • Competently executing the full customer communications programme. This includes managing “brand level” communication with customers: concept creation and writing of blog posts, videos, webinars, sales presentations, email / SMS, as well as, potentially, direct mail and promotional products
    • Work closely with the sales team for each retiring brand, developing a strong relationship and provide clear communication of the migration strategy
    • Reporting to the Senior Brand Development Manager to ensure that the brand strategy is aligned with the group brand strategy
    • Ensuring that the company retain all customers from the retiring brands, maintaining their positive perception of the group
    • Managing the sunsetting of multiple websites, ensuring that the value is passed to the retained website and working with our web team to ensure that we transfer all digital equity from the retiring brands to the retained brand
    • Systematically track the impact of the migration projects and ensure that all KPIs are met and customer churn is minimised

     

    What we are looking for:

    • The creative ability to generate content ideas on your own
    • Be highly creative and imaginative
    • Be a highly effective communicator, able to change your tone of voice based on your audience and used to working cross-functionally
    • Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders
    •  Be conscientious, articulate and professional in all communications
    • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work, with effective time management skills
    • Experience managing complex projects
    • Strong knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) practice
    • Expert in using software such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, Salesforce and ahrefs
    • A good knowledge of social media platforms
